This remodel & renovation was done to increase the value of the home before it went on the market. Because of location, market conditions and potential return on investment for updates throughout a home, the client wanted a complete home makeover to the home prior to listing it. The make ready project included painting, updating and transforming the entire home. Some of the specific enhancements we made were to extend the hardwood floors into the living area, add new flooring and carpet throughout, update the kitchen, master bath and downstairs half bath to include new counters, painted cabinets, tile, flooring and hardware, and to build out existing space over the garage to increase the overall square footage of the home. The clients opted to do some of the demolition work themselves to save money but we were involved in every step of the process from start to finish. Because the work was done to get the home ready to sell, we selected colors and materials that kept with current design trends, created a quality, custom feel but were also affordable to the client. We selected and installed all hardware, lighting and designer touches throughout to make this home show ready. Once the work was completed, we staged the home in a clean, crisp manner to ensure it showed well to potential buyers. Our staging included selection and arrangement of furniture and décor using both materials brought in and items the client chose to keep in the home.
